WOOOOO!!!!

Finished my first race today!!! 10k!!!!! 00:53:53 Time!!!! I've only been running for a bit so I'm SUPER happy with this time. Was raining and absolutely frigid outside but we are #likethat so it was no problem. Great Trek put me in the nonbinary category for whatever reason... but I will just not think about that its #celebration time right now. Now that I'm done with this race I can go back to regular gym and training schedule, felt kinda weird to depart from the usual routine, even if just for ~1 week.

Realized I have #not been mentioning my reading either... friend who recommended Saga put me on to Absolute Wonder Woman and I READ ALL OF IT ITS SO GOOD OUUUUUGH. I need Diana of the Wild Isle so bad it makes me look stupid etc etc. Aside from Diana being hot the comic is also just really cool! I've always been a sucker for greek mythology, and its very neat seeing it get incorporated into the story :) A lot of the paneling is also really unique and makes me clap like a seal at the hype and aura moments.

I've also been recommended (and am in the middle of reading) Shimeji Simulation! Its super cute, and very surreal which I love!! Although sometimes I'm not sure what order I'm supposed to be reading the panels in (;_;). I love yuri I'm clementine.

School has been going good! Capstone has been a lot... but I'm surviving -_-

Going out to a friend's place 2night to do an Over the Garden Wall marathon! It's a fun yearly tradition that I am a big fan of :) Oh yeah Halloween costume... I think I might just be lazy and do goth makeup for my costume this year teehee.

Hi again! Sorry 4 the gap since the last post... I've been sooooo busy ough.....

Finally got around to jamming last week tho!! Was SUPER fun, just played a bunch of whatever for like 3 hours, but it was so awesome... and im doing it again next thursday :)

New commander deck done!!! I built Roxanne, Starfall Savant - my first deck that doesn't have blue in it :o I think she's gonna be super fun to play, I built her primarily around burn w/ a little bit of treasure token synergy. Also my first commander deck with red in it... hopefully I can play aggressively enough, I usually play way too passive ;-;

Went 2 the gym for the first time in a while today, got a membership so I'm fully committed for the next 6 months :) Just going to do legs and core methinks... not super interested in big arms lol. Running is still going well! Race is next weekend :)

Thanksgiving!! Well Canadian thanksgiving... Either way! It was fun and awesome, gf made absolutely divine meal 4 me and some friends. I love going back to the island.. so prettyyyyy.

Wow it’s still October!!!

Had my first midterm exam :o haven’t got the grade back yet but I think I did pretty well! It was for my cybersecurity course :)

I’m writing this post on the ferry!! Going back to Victoria with my awesome gf for thanksgiving, also getting to catch up with a friend I haven’t seen in YEARS (so fun)

I ran my first 10k a few days ago! Managed to make ~5:25 pace, and almost fainted when I finished the run… super proud of myself for sticking it out! Hopefully I can keep it up, since I am running the 10k event in the upcoming great trek :DDD

Oh yeahg… I didn’t get to play the magic I was gonna play last week…. Gf’s evil job moved her shifts around…… ough!!!!!!! She also made me title this post “blurg”… it’s ok I still love her <3

First post of October

oOooOooooOo spooky month is here... and also other stuff! life is so awesome and beautiful.

I added comments to the site! Now you can yell back at me through the internet! I made a neat little system (inspired by my cybersecurity class) for user identification! Just pick a secret passphrase, and the site will generate a unique 3x3 "profile picture" for you! I don't expect to get too many comments, but its the #thoughtthatcounts or whatever.

Speaking of cybersecurity course... first midterm this week!! Lots of studying to be done today, course isn't super hard [and I really like it :)] so hopefully midterm will be alright. CPEN411 studying on the other hand... (ough)

I'm all caught up on Saga! I can't believe they killed _____ and ______, two of my favorite characters.... WHATEVER! I'm not even sad about it (lying). Now I'm back to reading Jerusalem: The Biography until further notice (then maybe on to some more comic books?).

The 2 cool ppl I met at that party (vide infra) are coming over for some commander this week! Gf and I are very excited!!!! That reminds me, I still haven't got around to playing the new Money for Girls update, oops!

OUGH I need to think of a halloween costume, absolutely zero idea what I'm going as this year. Would be cool to do a couples costume with girlfriend :)

SPEAKING OF GIRLFRIEND!! I got her to come running with me!! 2 runs down so far, hopefully many more to go, very proud of her :) :) :)

Haven't been listening to as much music as I would like...... whats up with that...

Hello!!!

It's been a while (kinda) since I last posted because I've been a bit busy lately. Let me #tell you all about it!!

I got around to reading book 2 of Saga so I'm on like chapter 37 now? VERY happy that Ghüs gets to be a recurring character, I love that little seal so much... That whole business with the dragon sure did happen o_o. I still absolutely LOVE the worldbuilding, everything about this comic is so fucking cool.

In other news, I've started running (not while writing this, just in general)! Which has been super fun, and also makes me feel so #healthy and #endorphinated. I've mostly been running 5ks with a friend of mine. I'm running a ~5:30 pace at the moment, which isn't half bad for someone who pretty much just started :)

I also started a (currently very tiny) webring! Which is basically a collection of websites that connect to each other in a circle. Click the buttons at the bottom of this page 2 check it out! I want to get the domain tamand.ua for the webring, but .ua is owned by Ukraine and I need to have an international copyright on "tamand"...

Met some cool people at a party recently! Well kind of met, since I had already run into them once before but didn't get to talk much. They're both super funny and seem quite cool. One of them(?) has played Money for Girls: Amortized which was VERY exciting to hear (I'm SO normal about that game), and also seems to be just as normal as me about electronics (x_x). Planning to play some Commander with both of them soon!! yay!!!

gonna try and make an effort often to post somewhat often :P

I read the first book of Saga today after a friend(?)/acquaintance(?)/new person recommended it to me, and absolutely LOVED it. Very big fan of Sophie (formerly "slave girl") and Lying Cat, VERY cute pair. Not used to how frequently characters die, but I get the sense that that's somewhat the norm when it comes to comics...

been listening 2 a bunch of Nirvana recently, mostly songs off of Nevermind, I especially like Drain You and Lounge Act. I also found another Sweet Trip song I REALLY like, Your World Is Eternally Complete, I can't stop listening to it, its so so so satisfying. Hoping to do some jamming with my friend Kieran soon, I've been so busy with school and other random things that I haven't been able to find the time...

had my first meeting for my capstone project today, looks like I am going to spend a lot of time learning about Android malware :) Seems fun, but currently up in the air if I will be able to work with the group I'd like to...

I should take more photos! and draw more! Yay!

Need to add a music section to the site, and some better organization for the photos section teehee.
